Beacon Fire Training Service
At Beacon Fire Protection, we want to share our 50 years of experience to improve
fire safety and fire prevention. Our awareness/warden courses are ideal for those requiring initial and refresher training.
Each awareness
course lasts approximately 1.5 hours and the aim of the session is to increase awareness of fire hazards as well as how to
follow company fire procedures and how to use a fire extinguisher.
Warden courses last approximately 3 hours.

Awareness course content:
- Introduction from our experienced staff
- Basic
fire precautions
- Staff actions in the event of fire
- Fire extinguishers and their uses
- Summary of knowledge acquired
Warden course content: - Have an understanding of fire
- Be able to reduce fire
risk at work
- Know what to do when the fire alarm sounds
- Know what to do if you find a fire
- Knowledge
of the location of fire exits, exit routes and operation of exit devices
- Know fire evacuation procedures
- Be
able to correctly and safetly select and use a fire extinguisher
Another way to reduce the risk of fire hazards in your workplace is to have a fire
risk assessment carried out. Our dedicated staff will visit your site, identity any risks and work with you to reduce their
impact.
